1. Question: What do you enjoy the most about working at Security Life?
Answer: “The people!! This includes customers, agents and co-workers.”
2. Question: Tell me about a time in which you made a big impact with a customer and what the outcome was.
Answer: “I had been talking with the son of a client about his mother’s dental policy. This policy terminated after her death, but a refund of premium was due. Since his cell phone minutes were limited, he asked that I text him the information about the date the check was mailed. Since then, he has called me three times on my cell phone after work hours (as he lives in Oregon).”
3. Question: What value do you bring specifically to your customers?
Answer: “I consider myself a kind and caring person. I will always try to go the extra mile to satisfy my customers.”
4. Question: What question do customers ask you the most and what is your response?
Answer: “The question I am asked most often is “which plan should I sell/buy?”. I always answer this question with several questions of my own including:
- Do you need immediate coverage?
- What price point would be comfortable?
- What are your dental needs?

6. Question: What advice would you give your best friend if they asked you how to choose a dental plan?
Answer: “I would suggest they talk with their dentist about upcoming needs and go from there. When they are comparing plans, be sure they compare “apples to apples”. Many plans look the same, but it is important to compare the specifics details. i.e. Is periodontics covered under major or basic?”
7. Question: You always seem to have a smile on your face each and every day, what’s your secret?
Answer: “Self-talk! Not only do I talk to myself often, I usually say nice things to myself…..like “it will be okay”, “stay positive”, “life is good”….”
8. Question: What hobbies do you enjoy outside of work?
Answer: “My most favorite hobby is watching my kids play sports! Aside from that, I enjoy hanging out with friends and family, shopping, and vacationing.”
